Allison Kimura is and ABC certified orthotist licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. During her 20 year career, Allison Kimura, CO/LO, has treated over 3200 infants for plagiocephaly. For over 10 years, she have spoken at the Orthomerica Summit meeting for plagiocpehlay/cranial bands with topics including plagiocephaly, fetal development, infant and child development, torticollis and ocular torticollis among others. At the end of July, Allison was requested by one of the surgeons that separated craniopagus twins in June of this year to treat them with cranial helmets. A distinct honor since there is an O & P facility within the hospital that treats their in-patients. She was also recently honored with being one of four national finalist for the Orthotic Prosthetic Group of Americas’ Woman of the year award.
Allison believes in bringing back exemplary patient care, ensuring that patients are regarded as individuals, taking time to answer questions and listen to concerns while treating each and every one for optimum success.
